Gavin's Preschool Concert!

Time has been flying by, and we have been having fun. Gavin just had his first sing-a-long at preschool. They sang 2 Halloween songs. I say "they", because he did not. He enjoyed sitting in front, playing with his costume, and talking to the boy next to him. Nevertheless, he was very excited.

Barn Dance

My how barn dances have changed since I was in college. Now it is babies, a square dance caller, hay rides, and ice cream. I won't tell you how the old ones were. We had a fun day out at Wagner's farm, Gavin and all his ladies: McKenna, Maddy, Claire, and Aubrianna.

Papa and Grandma took gavin and McKenna to a touch-a-truck event. They had so much fun sitting in and playing in all the big trucks. Gavin has been able to see so many trucks this summer, but this was the first time he was allowed in the driver's seat. He is sleeping with the two trucks he brought home that day. They both had so much fun! Thank you Papa and Grandma!

SUMMER DAYS

We are so sad that summer vacation is over, the kids are back to daycare, and we are back to work. We had so much fun this summer taking small little field trips and just hanging around the house. We feel so lucky to be able to have this time with the kids, even when it starts at 5:30am We visted many farms, nature centers, the Arlington Race Track a few times, had picnics, bike rides, and pool days. We danced, we laughed, we pretended, we made huge messes, we cuddled, and we napped. We couldn't have asked for a better summer :)

Grandma searched high and low for a boy apron and hat for Gavin's kitchen. When he opened the box it was pink. It was so funny, but he loved it anyways.

McKenna was ready to be first mate, as long as she could bring her babies

Captain Gavin was so happy to be 3, and to be spending it with everyone he loves.

Gavin was so excited for his birthday this year. It was the first time he really understood he was going to be 3, and people were coming for cake and presents. He was busy counting down all the days until it finally arrived. He was hoping for cars, dinsosaurs, trains, robots, and cowboy boots, and he was lucky enough to receive them all! Thank you everyone! He requested to have a pirate party. He celebrated with the family on his birthday, and then the next morning Gavin had his first "friends" party at Doplhin's Cove pool.

We can't believe our baby boy is a full grown "big boy now." He has a personality all his own, which makes us laugh and wonder everyday. It seems like just yesterday we were expecting, and I was secretly hoping to have a baby boy, and now he is starting preschool and his first soccer/basketball class. He makes each day brighter and we couldn't love him more.

Farm Days

This summer we visited lots of different farms with all our friends. The kiddo's love seeing all the animals, and learning about daily routines on the farm.
