Gav nor McQ had any fear getting right in there to feed the goats. I think Mom was more afraid, and kept asking them to back up!

We had so much fun spending the day at the petting zoo. There were lots of babies to see at the beginning of the summer. We will do much more of this while we have the time off!

Weekend Away

Ryan and I were able to get away for our first long weekend since our honeymoon. We went up to the Northwoods in Wisc., while the kids were tucked safely away with Grandma and Grandpa Fernstrom (thank you!). We did some camping, whitewater rafting, and drove some trails on UTV's. It was a great weekend (very quiet), and we wished the kids were there, but they are still a little too small for big adventures.

Hey, it's my birthday too!

We had a very small gathering to celebrate McKenna's big day and Ryan's. The kids all had a blast playing together, and we can't wait to do it again with all our friends and family at our summer party June 12th.

McKenna Quinn turns the big 1!

We celebrated at home on the 12th for McKenna Quinn's big day. She ate yogurt, rasberries, and brownies all like a big girl! I can't believe our little baby is 1. Where did the time fly? She really is the sweetest happiest little nugget. She is very insightful and quick to see the humor in things. She even knows just how to work the system all ready to get her brother into trouble when she isn't getting her way. We love her so much, and can't wait to see what this year brings us!
