Mommy's Birthday

For Mommy's birthday Gavin decided he wanted to take me on a magical walk through an enchanted forest to slay monsters and search for bears. It was an adorable idea so off we went to find an enchanted forest. We were having a blast; however, Mckenna and Daddy were being devoured by misquitoes, and were not happy. The trip was cut a little short, but next time Gavin said he will bring all the bug smashers (fly swatters) from Papa's house and we will dead them.

McQ just finished her first session of gymnastics. She loves it and did awesome, so she is going to stick with it. Get ready USA Olympic team.

Little Man is 4!

Gav loves dress up. Here is his Iron Man mask.

Gavin loves the bedtime stories Daddy tells about Sir Gavinalot. Now he has his own knight costume, and he can ride off to save Princess McKenna

We can't believe Gavin is 4 all ready. He is such a little boy now, and not a baby anymore :( He is getting ready to start preschool 5 days a week this year. We couldn't be more blessed to have such a fine little man. He had a great summer swimming, playing pretend (his fav thing to do), taking trips to the library, and always trying to wrestle. We love Gavin so incredibly much. Happy birthday Buddy!

McKenna Rocks the Potty!

McKenna is potty trained. She owned it, and it only took 1 1/2 days, and has never had an accident since. She rules. No more diapers for the Ferny Fam!

Pool Party!

McKenna loved meeting her new cousin baby Hunter

Cute as can be!

CANNON BALL!!

We had a great time at the Weber family pool party. We got to meet baby Hunter for the first time, and he was so precious. The kids loved swimming in the awesome new pool, and were so sad to go home. We only wished they lived closer, and we could visit so much more!

Santa's Village

Feeding the birdies, and going in for a closer look

McKenna came sooo close to grabbing that one. They were a sinister team, and I don't think the staff appreciated their mast minds.

I remember Mom and Dad taking me on this ride as kid; it came full circle when grandma and grandpa were able to take the kids.

Gavin enjoyed his ride in the blue car; the only one he wanted.

Santa's Village is only half the size it once was, but it was still fun to take the kids when Mom and Dad were in town. We use to go there as kids all the time so it was a real blast from the past. We only wish we got to hang with grandma and grandpa mor often!
